0845 numbers are often described as “local rate” because their low call charges are location independent.
With an 0845 number, if it is routed to a UK landline you pay nothing to receive calls.
Your customer pays only a local rate to call you no matter where in the UK they are situated.
The cost of calling 0845 numbers is a key advantage and maintains both a national presence and a ‘local’ feel.
03 numbers work in exactly the same way as other non geographic numbers (e.g. 0845 and 0800), except they are cheaper to call, even from mobile phones.
When customers dial your new 03 number the call is instantly redirected to a telephone number of your choice.
This is often your main land-line number and can even be a mobile number. Using our complimentary call divert system you can instantly change this ‘destination’ number as often as you wish. So even if you relocate or simply want your calls redirected to another number for a short period of time, your 0330 or 0333 numbers remain the same.
01/02 numbers All local Geographic numbers begin with 01 or 02 and relate to a particular city, town or area within the UK. They are also known as local area code numbers, STD code numbers and UK town numbers.
Our local Geographic numbers are virtual numbers; they aren't attached to a physical phone line.
You can forward these numbers to a UK landline or to a UK mobile
You can even forward them to international destinations.
An example could be an 0207 number diverts to the Birmingham office giving you a London number for advertising.
